after trying so hard for Seventeen years, here you are.
just fabulous right? and i heard you're planning to use Elise as a fame name.
“I dare say that you have a house hold name, but for the rest of the class, will you inform us once more what your parents named you?”
My name is Elise. I think it's nice enough. I was named after my grandmother. So it's a nice, old-fashioned name. It seems to go along with my personality, though. I have a love of all things vintage, so my name fits me perfectly. I think if I had been given a different name, I'd have a different personality. It's my belief that our names affect our personalities.
"When were you born? Did you say where? But...Where do you live now?"
I was born in May 2, 1994 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Yes, I have lived here all of my life so far. It's an okay town. I haven't had any problem with it so far. But I don't plan on staying here for all of my life like practically all of my family has. It is home. But I want another place to call home, away from everything else that I've previously known.
"You know, has anyone ever told you that you look exactly like...?"
Natalie Portman? Yes. I have heard that a lot, actually. I find that SO amazing. I don't look a thing like her. Natalie Portman is gorgeous, and there is no way I could look like her at all.
“Okay, be honest here. Which are you in to more: guys or dolls? Don't worry, our lips are sealed. There are just for, er, tracking purposes.”
Eh. I'm straight. I have no problem with gay people. I just prefer guys. Actually, for this to be Indiana, I know of a lot of gay people. They're great. I love them.
"Oh and your parents? What's your relationship with them? What do they do for a living? Tell me all about it.
Ah. How did I know this question would arise? My mother died when I was younger. I don't remember a lot about her. I do remember how sweet she was, though. As for my father, who knows where he is? He left me all alone because of some tramp that came around... Josh and Lila Norewood..... I live with my Aunt and Uncle now. Scott and Lacey Jones are their names. I have a crazy spoiled cousin named Brie too. I thank them for taking me in, but they are crazy over protective, and it's kind of annoying.
“Alright. So, what do you do in your spare time? Any favorite past times? What are your favorite things in the entire world? Those special things that just make you want to smile?”
This is going to sound so nerdy, but that's what I am. I really love things like, Star Wars, comics like DC and Marvel, Harry Potter. Things like that. Harry Potter actually reminds me a lot of myself. The whole Aunt and Uncle thing. When I turned eleven, I sat by the window of my bedroom all day waiting for an owl to bring me my letter of acceptance to Hogwarts. Yeah, nerdy, right?
Besides the nerdy stuff, I have a deep love for performing and all that jazz. I hope to be on Broadway someday. But what performer doesn't hope for at least a singing career? I adore it with all that is in me, and I couldn't imagine myself not doing anything with my life that includes performing in any way whatsoever.
I love spending time with my boyfriend, Shaun. He's my own Harry Potter. He's a cutie, and just as much as a nerd as I am.
"That's interesting. Is there anything you absolutely dislike?"
It's hard pressed to find something that I absolutely dislike. I'll try anything within reason. But if I had to say anything, it would be those kind of girls that throw themselves at any and every guy that comes around. They're worth more than that, and they don't have to throw their self around to gain respect.
Then there is of course the small stuff. Like when Brie throws a tantrum, or gets me in trouble for things I didn't do. Yeah, that pisses me off. The times when my Aunt or Uncle get mad over nothing. The times when I can't do something right that I know I can do.
And that's basically the extent of it.
“Any short or long term goals? Where do you see yourself five years? In ten? How do you plan to get there?”
I see myself living in New York, maybe being on Broadway by this point. It is my dream town. I was made for that place. I just know it. I'm saving up money right now, and I have been since I was eight. I have a decent amount now. When you've been saving for nine years, that seems to happen. Maybe at that time I'll be married, but it's not really something that I'm planning on. If it happens, it happens. If I'm not, well, that is just more time to focus on my career.
“Is there a significant other in your life? How do you do with relationships?”
I mentioned him earlier. His name is Shaun Potter. We've been dating about nine months, and I couldn't be happier. We're similar in so many ways, but then again, we have a lot of differences. One of the greatest things about him is that he doesn't have to go out all the time. He's content with watching Star Wars for a date. We first really met when I was trying to get something out of the crazy people's Harry Potter clubroom, and I saw him there, tied up with a sharpie lightning scar on his forehead. I saved him. :D. I am his Padme, and he is my Harry Potter.
“Not that it matters or anything, but how much do your parents make?”
Well, my AUNT AND UNCLE make a decent amount of money. They're basically the most successful and well to do lawyers in Indiana. So, yes. They make a lot of money. But they don't give me any of it. I have to work as a secretary at the office. But they do pay me well there. But I do have to pay for all of my clothes and everything. They pay for other stuff, though.
“What makes you quake in your boots? If you had to pick one thing that scared you the most, what would it be?”
I'm afraid that I'll be stuck in this place. Even if I don't move to New York - knock on wood - I don't want to be here. It has memories, yes. But only memories can suffice for a little bit of time. But the thing is, I don't know many people that have gotten out of this town. Even the ones that wanted to are still here. I've heard their stories, and it scares me because I feel like that is going to happen to me. I'm terrified that it's going to end up like that.
